22, 2012 Dear Democrats and Supporters,
This message is a reminder that Governor Deval Patrick will be in Watertown for a House Party on January 26th, at 6:00 PM at the home of Tesi Kohlenberg & Tom Goodwillie at 93
Garfield St. in Watertown.
Governor Patrick will lead a discussion about his new political action committee, Together PAC, Inc. and how his leadership
based on conviction politics is affecting our Commonwealth and the country. There is no suggested donation for this event;
the focus is for the Governor to share his vision and discuss current issues with local activists. Thank you to those
who have already RSVPed, either to myself or to the Patrick Committee. If you plan to attend, please let us know to
help us in the planning. Also, following the event, the Democratic Town Committee will have
its monthly meeting, starting at 8:00 in the Lower Hearing Room of the Watertown Town Hall. Note that we will be starting slightly later than usual to allow people some time to attend both
events. We will be making preparations for our February 11th Democratic Caucus. The Caucus will be at 2PM in the Watertown
Savings Bank Room of the Watertown Library. In addition, we will have both candidates
for male Democratic State Committee member, David Kazis and Johsua Dawson will address the committee. The election for
the DSC will be on the Presidential Primary ballot on March 6th. Finally, we have been able to complete a
claim on the abandoned property from the John Carver Scholarship Fund. This money can be only used for scholarship or charitable
purposes, and we are looking to keep this money separate from the DTC's account to comply with this. I would like to
continue the committee's discussion on what the next steps should be for these funds so we can make a decision at our February
or March meetings. Hope to see you there on Thursday. Democratically
Yours, Steve Owens Chair, Watertown DTC
PS. Let's go Pats! On to the Superbowl!
